Relay protectionProtection Systems feature the use of Integrated Protection Systems®, micro-processor-based relays which use digital signal processing technology to provide protective relaying functions for generator, intertie or transformer protection. Each relay provides "pick and choose" protective functions which allow users to select functions to customize relays for their specific application needs. |

Voltage regulator controlsThe M-2600 series of Autodaptive LTC and regulator controls is a family of controls that uses these Autodaptive techniques and are designed to interact with each other and other Autodaptive controls on the distribution system. This interaction results in a lower VRQF (voltage regulation quality factor)-a distinctive measurement of voltage variation from a desired value giving a measure of regulation effectiveness. |

Capacitor controlsThe M-2501B Autodaptive Capacitor Control (ACC) switches pole-top capacitor banks according to changing system VAr needs, resulting in better distribution line voltage regulation and lower system losses. This action also increases supply equipment capacity to provide more power to distribution customers. |

Motor bus transfersThe utility-grade Syncrotran® System consists of a Transfer Logic Controller and either a Power Transfer Relay or a High Speed Sync-Check Relay. The system performs all of the necessary logic and control functions for motor bus transfers in two directions by automatically selecting from either fast, in-phase or residual voltage methods. The relays allow the Transfer Logic Controller to supervise a fast transfer by monitoring the phase angle between the motor bus and the new source, and blocking transfer if the angle is excessive. |

LTC Tapchanger controlsLTC Control Systems are designed to be used with various load tapchangers. They can be housed in enclosures which can also include associated control switches, auxiliary relays, test jacks, and convenience outlets. Each system includes a Digital Tapchanger Control and an Adapter Panel. Paralleling by means of either the circulating current or delta VAr method can be provided. |
