PTA Craft Fair
Each year in December, the PTA sponsors a school-wide Craft Fair night. This activity provides a fun gathering where families can make Christmas gifts together and helps to raise funds for various school groups. There is always a wide variety of crafts, from classic candy cane reindeer to bead necklaces to more traditional Japanese crafts like sumi-e and origami. It is always very popular and lots of fun!
Halloween Costume Parade
The annual Costume Parade takes place on Halloween for grades preK - 2. Traditionally, the parade courses around the school grounds, although if the weather is inclement, the parade is limited to the inside of the building. The fun is by no means limited! Each classroom holds its share of ghosts, goblins, pirates, witches, fairies, and the latest movie and TV characters.
