Voce Bella releases CD of cowboy music

The Buffalo Gals (AKA Voce Bella) has released a new CD, Trails West. Consisting of favorite cowboy songs, it is available for purchase at CD Baby. Listen and sing along to old favorites like these:

Encore's new season begins January 18
The spring season for Encore Women's Vocal Ensemble begins on January 18, 2005 with what director Melinda Beyers calls a program of "Americana." Included will be music from and celebrating the Big Band era and the Jazz Age. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 and the culminating concert will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2005.

Encore sings at ecumenical prayer service
Encore Women's Vocal Ensemble will join with worship leaders and musicians from around the city in an interfaith service of lamentation and hope for the war in Iraq. Organized by Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon and hosted by Augustana Lutheran Church, the service will take place on Sunday, January 9 at 4 pm.
